Ruslan Antonenko
Ruslan Antonenko
is a dedicated professional with 8-year experience in the
practice, focusing in small and medium rise housing, public and private interior
design. Holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of California,
Los Angeles. Main focus was Singularity in Architecture.
Since 2016 Ruslan has been developing sustainable housing in architecture in
semi-harsh and harsh climates at Karaganda State Technical University,
Kazakhstan. The team successfully got a government grand for developing case
studies, housing models, urban solutions complied with sustainable code.
From 2021, he founded Antonenko Atelier in Kyiv, where he was designing and
developing two medium scale housing projects. After the full scale invasion of
Ukraine, Ruslan’s main aim is to assist rebuilding and redesigning cities and
villages in Ukraine. He designed a small rehabilitation camp, developed a design
study for renovations of dilapidated Soviet bomb shelters, designed collapsible
sleeping units for subway platforms.
