Dr. Kyle Alves is Senior Lecturer within the Strategy & Operations Management group in Bristol Business School, at the University of the West of England.

 

Dr. Alves' research focuses on the design of organizational delivery systems and the impact of digital technologies to enhance performance.  His most recent work focuses on design and delivery of mass claims processes, and digitally enhanced food supply chains.  Central to his experience is his tenure in Zurich, Switzerland, as IT Project Manager with the Claims Resolution Tribunal; a mass claims process involving restitution linked to dormant WWII-era Swiss bank accounts. 

 

Dr. Alves holds a PhD (2017) and an MBA (2007) from the University of Exeter, and a BA from the University of Arizona (1993).   His professional experience includes management consulting, and legislative work with the State of California.
